Job Title: Part-Time Barista
Location: Downtown Los Angeles

We are a third-wave, independent coffee shop specializing in plant-based beverages and proudly serving the Los Angeles community for over 4.5 years. Unlike chain coffee shops, we focus on crafting specialty coffee with precision and care. Owned and operated by Ross and Didi, we take immense pride in our craft, exceptional customer service, and attention to detail.
Position Overview:
We are looking for experienced and passionate baristas to join our team. You’ll need to bring strong coffee-making skills, a commitment to following our recipes, and a natural flair for providing top-notch customer service. Cleanliness and attention to detail are non-negotiable in our shop.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare high-quality specialty coffee and plant-based beverages with precision and consistency, following established recipes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, creating a warm and inviting environment for all guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the workspace, ensuring the shop meets the highest standards.
• Manage daily tasks such as stock replenishment, equipment care, and adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the team to uphold our mission and values.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of barista experience in a specialty coffee shop or similar environment.
• Strong skills in making espresso-based drinks and understanding of plant-based alternatives - vegan is a bonus!
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - we pride ourselves on our customer service, its a must!
• A natural eye for detail and a high standard of cleanliness
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to take initiative
Schedule:
Part-time (15–20 hours per week). Flexibility to work mornings is preferred, the role is only Monday - Friday -- YAY for weekends!
